Green Apple Award for Horley Leisure Centre
The new Horley Leisure Centre has been announced a winner in this year’s Green Apple Awards for the Built Environment & Architectural Heritage, in the local authority building project category. The Green Apple Awards are at the vanguard of environmental and sustainability best practice.
Trevor Bayliss, the British inventor famous for inventing the wind-up radio will be guest of honour at the awards ceremony in June.
We are very proud to be part of this highly sustainable project with Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.
This is the second design & build project by Pellikaan that won this prestigious prize. In 2009 the honour was conferred upon Watford Leisure Centre Woodside.
