Later this year, we will start works on the new Wyre Forest Leisure Centre. The PPP contract for the Design Build, Operation and Maintenance of the new centre was signed earlier this month. Places for People Leisure, Press & Starkey, Roberts Limbrick Architects and Pellikaan teamed up to tender for this new leisure centre.<\/p>\n

The council selected the scheme “because it will achieve greater savings and offer high quality leisure opportunities to Wyre Forest residents”. Wyre Forest District Council expects to save over \u00a3 390,000 a year with these new facilities because \u201cthe new centre is more sustainable and the contractor will be paying the council a management fee to run the facility\u201d.<\/p>\n
