'Oktopus' Leisure Centre Siegburg

Pellikaan created an attractive sports fitness, wellness and recreation world, including renovation of an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (50m).

The biggest attraction is the diving centre with Germany’s deepest diving tower of 20.5 m. Diving enthusiasts can go on expeditions in the “Ruins of the sunken, ancient town of Atlantis” built there. The powerful surf complex is a big challenge for surfers. At 60 kilometers per hour the water shoots up to create “the perfect wave”. There is a slide with four “fast tubes”, a huge tyre flume and two turbo flumes, suitable for fast slide contests.

Alongside the fitness area, a spa and wellness area offers a sauna, steam bath, cosmetic treatments and a massage. The “Friendly Cityhotel Oktopus”, joined to the centre, has 57 modern rooms, interesting themed suites, conference rooms and a well styled restaurant with a cafĂ©, bar and lounge.

The Oktopus is extremely ecologically and economically sound, due to various efficiency measures. The special attractions and the sustainable energy supply concept are guarantees for long-term project success. The Oktopus will thereby set the standard for many centres.
