This public leisure centre has a 25m pool with learner pool, a 4court sports hall, fitness suite, studio and related changing and reception facilities. The 155 parking spaces are shared with the Horley Town Football Club. The access road to the club is within the site boundary and was kept open throughout the project.

A low carbon energy philosophy influenced design and engineering decisions resulting in several awards: International Green Apple Award, Engineering Excellence Award and LABC Building Excellence Awards for Best Small Commercial Building (winner) and Best Sustainability Design (finalist). An A-rating for energy efficiency was achieved due to a range of measures including: a biomass boiler for woodchips and wood pellets, pool covers, solar panels (photovoltaic) and a lighting scheme based on daylight saving and PIR sensors. The UV pool filtration system reduces the amount of required chlorine by half. The entire building is made of concrete with laminated timber beams, columns, and roof and wall panels, and more than 90 per cent of the demolition materials from the old school at this location were reclaimed or recycled.

The building is accessible to all. The pool can be accessed via a full-length ramp with waterproof wheelchairs or a poolside hoist, there are fully equipped disabled changing rooms, two of which are fitted with ceiling-mounted electrical hoists, and several pieces of gym equipment have adaptations and features to make them more accessible. All the facilities can be accessed via ramps or lift. The centre also has high visibility signage with captions in Braille, fluorescent markings on equipment, a hearing loop system and tactile paving outside.
